This policy explains what Shoprivet collects and how we use it when you use shoprivet.io and related services.

Who we are

Shoprivet is a product that lets you add a shopping cart and online store to a website you already have, use a hosted storefront, or build with our API. The service is operated at shoprivet.io.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name or profile details you provide, and authentication information (including if you sign in with Google).
• Store data: stores, products, images, categories, inventory, orders, customers related to orders, payment settings you configure, and storefront settings.
• Usage and technical data: logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages or API routes accessed, used to run and secure the service.
• Cookies and session data: session cookies used to keep you signed in and protect account access.

How we use information

• Provide and improve the Shoprivet service
• Authenticate users and keep accounts secure
• Process store operations (catalog, cart, checkout, orders)
• Send account related messages (for example verification or password reset)
• Bill paid plans when you subscribe
• Prevent abuse and debug issues

Payments

When your customers check out, payment is handled by the payment gateways you connect (such as Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, Razorpay, PayPal, Paddle, or cash on delivery). Shoprivet does not hold customer checkout funds.

If you subscribe to a paid Shoprivet plan, billing is processed by Paddle. Paddle may collect billing details under its own privacy policy.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Service providers that help us run Shoprivet (for example hosting, email, or billing)
• Payment processors you choose for customer checkout, and Paddle for Shoprivet subscriptions
• Authorities when required by law

Data retention

We keep account and store data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account data from your account or by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and session based authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

• Update profile information in your account settings
• Request a copy or deletion of your account data
• Close your account

Children

Shoprivet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Shoprivet after changes means you accept the updated policy.
